Following a successful Pilot, the Practice has introduced a new system for the collection of Investigation and Test results
Please contact the Practice either by telephone or personal visit between 14:00 and 17.00 to enquire about your test results. Contacting us at this time gives our reception staff more time to deal with your request
If, due to working or caring responsibilities, you are unable to contact us during these times, please let us know and we will ensure that your circumstances are taken into consideration
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice. It is common practice for blood tests to take 10 days before results are available for patients
We are asking for you to take responsibility to check your results, and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
