Consultations are by appointment only. Appointments can be made either in person at the Surgery, online using a number of downloadable platforms or by contacting us by telephone on 01704 877600.
All patients are welcome to be accompanied at their consultation by a friend or relative and we also arrange chaperones at consultations at both patient and clinical instigation.
We also offer telephone consultations for occasions when a patient requires advice but does not need to be seen and/or examined by doctor.
We also now promote and support eConsult. This is available via the website and allows patients to request fit notes/sick notes, other admin tasks and also to obtain prescriptions and advice for non urgent medical conditions from a clinician, by completing an online form.
When making an appointment with a clinician, the receptionist will ask for additional details, as some review appointments may require a longer appointment and a triage may take place to allow our trained staff to signpost you to the best service. We may advise you by telephone when appointments are due.
The Surgery now also uses a text message reminder service supported by NHS England. The aim of this is to communicate effectively with all of our patients, reduce missed appointments and inform patients of any changes. Please ensure your contact details are up to date with the Surgery, particularly your mobile number and email address.
Telephone Advice
The doctors and nurses are happy to give telephone advice where appropriate. Please give your details to the receptionist who will be happy to arrange this for you.
